Unlike traditional transfer slings, this repositioning sling for patient care is engineered specifically for in-bed mobility tasks—making it an essential tool for hygiene care, skin integrity management, and daily repositioning routines.

This sling is ideal for caregivers searching for a safer and more effective way to turn a patient in bed, maintain positioning during care, and gain better access for hygiene or medical treatment—all while minimizing disruption and physical effort.

✔️ Patients with limited mobility or full dependence
✔️ Individuals requiring frequent repositioning
✔️ Patients at risk of pressure sores or skin breakdown
✔️ Bariatric or heavier patients needing assisted turning
✔️ Care settings requiring efficient hygiene and care access

If someone is searching:

✔️ “How do I safely turn a patient in bed?”
✔️ “What sling helps with log rolling patients?”
✔️ “Best repositioning sling for patient hygiene care?”

This sling is a direct solution.

What This Sling Is Designed To Do

The Joerns Hoyer Twin Turner Sling is specifically built for turning and repositioning tasks, not full transfers.

✔️ Turning patients from side to side
✔️ Assisting with log rolling techniques
✔️ Holding patients in position during hygiene care
✔️ Providing better access for skin treatment and inspection
✔️ Supporting repositioning routines in bed

This makes it an essential tool in both clinical and home care environments where repositioning is frequent and critical.

Turning Sling vs Repositioning Sling vs Transfer Sling

Understanding the difference is critical for choosing the right sling:

  • Patient Turning Sling (this product): designed for turning and log rolling
  • Repositioning Sling: used for boosting and adjusting position in bed
  • Transfer Sling: used for lifting between bed, chair, or commode

Key takeaway: This sling is best when the primary goal is turning and maintaining patient positioning during care, not lifting between surfaces.

Real Problems This Sling Solves

Caregivers often struggle with manual repositioning. This repositioning sling for patient care directly addresses those challenges:

✔️ Difficulty turning patients safely in bed
✔️ Risk of injury during manual log rolling
✔️ Limited access for hygiene and skin care
✔️ Increased caregiver fatigue and strain
✔️ Patient discomfort during repositioning

How the Twin Turner Sling Works

This sling is placed beneath or around the patient and used to assist caregivers in controlled turning movements. Its design allows:

✔️ Smooth, controlled repositioning
✔️ Better leverage for caregivers
✔️ Safer handling of dependent patients
✔️ Stability during hygiene or care tasks

The result is a safer and more efficient care process for both the patient and caregiver.

Best Use Environments

✔️ Hospitals and acute care facilities
✔️ Long-term care and nursing homes
✔️ Rehabilitation centers
✔️ Home care environments
