Description
Diestco Cup Holder – Scooter and Wheelchair Cup Holder for Mugs and Drinks up to 44 oz
The Diestco Cup Holder is a molded plastic cupholder with a slotted space for a mug or cup handle, and Diestco says it holds up to a 44 oz. beverage. That covers a coffee mug at the kitchen table and a big fountain drink on the way home.
Choose the mount that matches your armrest or frame in the dropdown. Two versions make it a scooter cup holder for padded or molded armrests on scooters and power chairs, and one straps to exposed tubing, which makes it a wheelchair cup holder for manual chairs.
Why Choose the Diestco Cup Holder?
Holding a drink while you drive a scooter or push a chair isn’t safe, and a cup wedged between your legs spills. A cupholder on the armrest or frame keeps the drink upright and in reach.
The slot for a handle is the part people like most. Most cupholders only take straight-sided cups; this one lets you bring your coffee mug along too.
Who Is It For?
- Mobility scooter riders with padded or molded armrests
- Power wheelchair users with padded or molded armrests
- Manual wheelchair users who can strap a holder to exposed frame tubing
- Anyone who wants to carry a mug with a handle, not just a bottle
See every cupholder style we carry in our cup holders section.
How It Mounts
Each version mounts differently, and Diestco names them by what they attach to. The exposed-tubing version mounts to any vertical or horizontal exposed tubing with a hook-and-loop strap. The molded-armrest version connects the cupholder basket to its mount with a push button, so the cup comes off easily for washing.
Diestco doesn’t describe the padded-armrest mount in detail on its page. Send us your scooter or chair make and model, or a photo of the armrest, and we’ll confirm which version fits before you order.
Holds Up to a 44 oz. Beverage
Diestco rates the cupholder for up to a 44 oz. beverage. That covers most travel mugs, water bottles and large fountain drinks.
Slotted Space for a Mug Handle
The molded plastic cup has a slot for a mug or cup handle, so a regular coffee mug sits in it upright instead of wobbling on top.
Push-Button Release on the Molded-Armrest Version
On the molded-armrest version, Diestco says the cupholder basket connects to its mount by a push button for easy on and off. Take it off to wash it, or when you fold the scooter for the car.
Choosing Your Options
The cup is the same molded plastic design on all three; the mount is what changes. Pick by what you’ll attach it to.
| Option in the dropdown | Diestco SKU | What it fits (Diestco) |
|---|---|---|
| for Scooters/Powerchairs w/ Padded Armrests | A1322 | Most scooters and power chairs with padded armrests |
| for Manual Wheelchairs | A1323 | Any vertical or horizontal exposed tubing, hook-and-loop strap |
| for Scooter/Powerchairs w/ Molded armrests | A1324 | Scooters and power chairs with molded armrests; push-button release |
Padded armrest means a cushioned, upholstered armrest. Molded armrest means a hard, shaped plastic one. If your chair has neither, or you’re using a manual wheelchair, the exposed-tubing version straps to the frame. Still unsure? Send us a photo of the armrest.
Sizing & Fit
Diestco lists the cupholder at 3-1/2″ and rates it for up to a 44 oz. beverage. Diestco doesn’t state whether the 3-1/2″ is the opening or the height, so if you use an unusually wide cup or bottle, ask us before ordering. For the exposed-tubing version, pick a tube where the cup will sit upright and won’t hit your hand, wheel or controls.
Care & Cleaning
This is general care advice, not a Diestco instruction. Rinse the plastic cup with warm soapy water and dry it. On the molded-armrest version, pop the cup off its mount with the push button first. Skip the dishwasher unless Diestco confirms it’s safe; ask us.
What’s Included
Diestco lists the cupholder with the mount for the version you choose (hook-and-loop strap on the exposed-tubing version; push-button mount on the molded-armrest version). Ask us to confirm the full box contents for your version.
Warranty
Ask us for Diestco’s current warranty terms.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which Diestco cup holder do I need?
Pick by what you’re attaching it to. Padded armrests on a scooter or power chair take the A1322, molded plastic armrests take the A1324, and manual wheelchairs or any exposed tube take the strap-on A1323. Send us a photo of your armrest if you’re unsure.
How big a drink does it hold?
Up to a 44 oz. beverage, per Diestco. That covers travel mugs, water bottles and large fountain drinks.
Can I use a coffee mug with a handle?
Yes. Diestco built it with a slotted space for a mug or cup handle, so the handle drops into the slot and the mug sits upright.
Will it fit my scooter?
Most likely, with the right version. Diestco says the A1322 is for most scooters and power chairs with padded armrests and the A1324 for those with molded armrests. Send us your make and model and we’ll confirm.
Will it fit a manual wheelchair?
Yes, with the exposed-tubing version (A1323, shown as ‘for Manual Wheelchairs’). Diestco says it mounts to any vertical or horizontal exposed tubing with a hook-and-loop strap.
Can I take the cup off?
On the molded-armrest version, yes. Diestco says the cupholder basket connects to the mount with a push button for easy on and off. Ask us about removal on the other two.
What does the 3-1/2 inch size mean?
It’s the size Diestco lists for the cupholder. Diestco doesn’t say whether it’s the opening or the height, so ask us if you use an unusually wide cup.
Is there a soft cupholder that can’t break?
Yes. The Diestco Fabric Cup Holder is heavy-duty polyester with a cord lock and fits containers up to a 32 oz. bottle, in vertical, horizontal and front grip styles.

Shipping & Returns
Shipping & Return Policy
At MedCare Mobility, we understand that purchasing medical and mobility equipment is an important decision. Our goal is to make the ordering, delivery, and return process as clear and straightforward as possible.
Because many of the products we offer are large, specialized, or shipped directly from manufacturer and distributor warehouses, shipping and return requirements may vary somewhat by product and brand. The policy below explains what you can generally expect when ordering from MedCare Mobility.
Shipping & Order Processing
We ship medical and mobility equipment to customers throughout the United States. Orders are processed as quickly as possible, and tracking information is provided once available.
Processing Time
Most in-stock orders are processed within approximately 1–3 business days. Processing may include order verification, warehouse preparation, packaging, and coordination with the manufacturer or distributor.
Some specialty equipment, made-to-order products, oversized items, or products shipping directly from a manufacturer may require additional processing time. Any estimated processing or lead time shown on an individual product page should be considered part of the expected fulfillment timeframe for that item.
Transit & Delivery Time
Once shipped, many standard orders arrive within approximately 3–7 business days. Larger medical equipment, freight shipments, specialty products, and certain manufacturer-direct orders may require additional transit time.
Tracking information will generally be emailed once the shipment has been processed by the carrier. If you have questions regarding the status of your order, please contact us at info@medcaremobility.com.
Alaska, Hawaii & Special Shipping Areas
Orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and certain remote or limited-access areas may be subject to additional shipping charges. If an additional charge is required after your order is reviewed, we will contact you before proceeding whenever additional payment is necessary.
Freight & Oversized Equipment
Hospital beds, patient lifts, large recliners, ramps, and other oversized medical equipment may ship by freight rather than standard parcel service. Unless a specific delivery service is stated on the product page or order, freight delivery does not automatically include inside delivery, assembly, installation, or removal of packaging.
30-Day Return Policy
We want you to feel comfortable ordering from MedCare Mobility. Most eligible products may be returned when a return is requested within 30 days of delivery, subject to the conditions and exclusions outlined below.
Eligible products generally include:
- Electric and power wheelchairs
- Manual and lightweight wheelchairs
- Mobility scooters
- Walkers and rollators
- Patient lifts
- Wheelchair ramps
- Hospital and homecare beds
- Eligible medical mattresses
- Geriatric and medical recliner chairs
- Overbed tables
- Bathroom benches and shower chairs
- Other eligible medical and mobility equipment
Return eligibility can vary by manufacturer and product type. Products specifically identified as non-returnable, custom, made-to-order, or otherwise subject to special return terms are governed by those terms.
Return Authorization
Please contact us before shipping any product back. Returns must first be approved and issued a Return Authorization (RA) and the appropriate return shipping address.
You may request a return by emailing info@medcaremobility.com or contacting our customer service team through the live chat on our website.
Please do not return merchandise to an address shown on the original shipping label unless specifically instructed to do so. Many products ship directly from manufacturer or distributor warehouses, and the correct return location may be different from the original shipping location.
Condition of Returned Merchandise
To qualify for a return and refund, the product must be returned:
- In brand-new and unused condition
- In its complete original manufacturer packaging
- With all manuals, components, hardware, accessories, and included materials
- Without damage, modification, assembly wear, stains, odors, or other signs of use
- In resalable condition upon inspection by the receiving warehouse or manufacturer
We strongly recommend keeping the original box, pallet, protective materials, and packaging until you are certain that you intend to keep the equipment. Large medical equipment can be difficult or impossible to return safely without its original packaging.
Restocking Fees
Approved returns are subject to a mandatory restocking fee, generally ranging from 15% to 20% of the applicable product price. The exact restocking percentage varies depending on the manufacturer, brand, and type of equipment being returned.
These restocking charges are assessed to us by the manufacturer or distributing warehouse when merchandise is returned. MedCare Mobility does not add the fee simply as a return penalty; when the manufacturer requires the charge, we must pass the applicable amount through as part of processing the return.
If you would like to know the applicable restocking percentage for a particular product before ordering, please contact us and we will be happy to help whenever that information is available from the manufacturer.
Return Shipping & Shipping Charges
The customer is responsible for shipping charges associated with the order when making a standard return.
Customers are responsible for arranging for the approved merchandise to be returned to the return address provided with the Return Authorization. In certain cases, we may be able to provide a prepaid return label or coordinate return transportation for your convenience. When provided, the applicable shipping cost may be deducted from the final refund.
Because some medical equipment is oversized or requires freight transportation, prepaid labels or carrier call tags may not be available for every product. Our customer service team will provide the available return instructions when your return is authorized.
Non-Returnable Products
For health, hygiene, safety, customization, and manufacturer-policy reasons, certain products are not eligible for standard returns.
We currently do not accept returns on:
- Parts & accessories
- Wheelchair cushions and support accessories
- Patient lift slings
- Custom or made-to-order products
- Products specifically identified as non-returnable on the product page
If a non-returnable product arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us promptly. Non-returnable status does not prevent us from assisting with a legitimate shipping damage, defect, warranty, or fulfillment issue in accordance with the applicable manufacturer and carrier procedures.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
We take shipping damage seriously and will work with you to help resolve legitimate delivery issues.
If your product arrives damaged, please notify MedCare Mobility within 48 hours of delivery. Whenever possible, retain the shipping carton, pallet, packaging materials, and the product exactly as received and take clear photographs of the packaging and any visible damage.
Reporting damage promptly is important because carriers and manufacturers have limited timeframes for filing freight and shipping claims.
If you receive an incorrect product or believe there is a manufacturer defect, please contact us before returning or disposing of any merchandise or packaging so that we can provide the appropriate instructions.
Refused Deliveries
Please contact us before refusing a delivery unless the shipment has obvious significant freight damage and the carrier is documenting the damage at delivery.
A shipment that is refused for reasons unrelated to verified shipping damage may be treated as a standard return. Applicable restocking and shipping charges may therefore be deducted from the refund.
Return Shipping Deadline
Once a return has been approved and return instructions or a return label have been issued, the merchandise must be shipped within 72 hours unless MedCare Mobility provides different instructions in writing.
This is particularly important when a return is approaching the end of the applicable return period. Returns shipped outside the authorized timeframe may be refused by the manufacturer or warehouse and may no longer qualify for a refund.
Refund Processing
Refunds are processed after the returned merchandise has been received and inspected by the applicable warehouse or manufacturer and the return has been confirmed to meet the return requirements.
The applicable restocking fee, shipping charges associated with the order, and any other authorized return-related charges will be deducted from the amount eligible for refund.
If returned merchandise is used, damaged, incomplete, missing original packaging or components, or otherwise returned in a condition that prevents the manufacturer or warehouse from accepting it as new and resalable merchandise, the return may be refused or the refund may be reduced in accordance with the manufacturer’s assessment.
Custom & Made-to-Order Products
Products identified as custom, configured, made-to-order, special-order, or manufactured specifically for the customer cannot generally be canceled once production or manufacturer processing has begun and are not eligible for standard returns.
For custom products, cancellation may only be possible during the initial processing period and before production or customization begins. Because production schedules vary by manufacturer, we encourage customers to contact us immediately if a change is required.
If a custom product arrives damaged or has a legitimate manufacturing defect, we will work with the manufacturer to pursue the appropriate resolution, replacement components, repair, or other available remedy under the applicable manufacturer policy or warranty.
Questions Before Ordering?
Medical equipment can vary considerably in size, configuration, compatibility, and intended use. If you are unsure whether a product will work for your needs, we strongly encourage you to contact us before placing your order.
Our team is happy to help review product specifications, dimensions, options, compatibility, and available manufacturer information so you can make a more informed purchasing decision and reduce the possibility of needing a return.
For shipping, return, or product questions, contact us at info@medcaremobility.com or speak with us through the live chat on our website.
