Description
VOCIC D91 Fold&Go Remote Folding Mobility Scooter – Auto-Fold Travel Scooter With 15.5-Mile Range
The VOCIC D91 Fold&Go is a remote folding mobility scooter that does the folding for you. Press the remote and it folds itself into an upright, suitcase-style package about 28″ tall. The aluminum alloy frame weighs 62.8 lbs, VOCIC rates it for riders up to 265 lbs, and it runs up to 15.5 miles on a charge at speeds up to 4.97 mph.
If you’ve been looking for a remote control folding mobility scooter, this is the kind most people picture: no levers to wrestle, no bending down to release a frame latch. You can also fold it with a button on the scooter, or by hand with a manual pull if the battery is low. It arrives pre-assembled, so there’s nothing to build when it shows up.
VOCIC sells the D91 as an airline friendly mobility scooter. Its 12Ah lithium-ion battery is listed by VOCIC as airline compliant, but every airline sets its own battery rules, so the final yes comes from your airline (more on that in the travel FAQ below). Pick Red or Black in the dropdown above.
Why Choose the VOCIC D91?
Most folding scooters ask you to do the hard part: release the tiller, fold the frame, then lift it. The D91 folds on its own with the remote, so the only effort left is getting it into the car. It weighs 62.8 lbs with the battery and goes into the car in one piece, and it charges in about 3 hours, which means a quick top-up between outings.
It’s built simply: an aluminum alloy frame, 8″ solid tires that can’t go flat, removable armrests, a folding front basket and a 24V 270W motor. VOCIC ships it pre-assembled with the charger and user’s manual.
Who Is the VOCIC D91 Best For?
The D91 is a good fit for:
- People who travel by car or plane and want a scooter that folds without bending or lifting a heavy frame by hand
- Riders up to 265 lbs who get around on sidewalks, store aisles, malls, airports and smooth paths
- Couples and families where a partner or adult child loads the scooter and wants the fold to be quick
- Anyone with limited hand strength who finds folding levers and latches hard to work
- People who want a four-wheel scooter they can store folded and upright in a closet or hallway corner

Who May Need a Different Scooter?
- Riders over 265 lbs: look at a heavy duty scooter with a higher rating.
- People who need long range: the D91 goes up to 15.5 miles per charge. If your days run longer than that, choose a full-size scooter with a bigger battery.
- Rough ground: 8″ solid tires are made for firm surfaces. For gravel roads, deep grass or steep hills, a full-size outdoor scooter with larger pneumatic tires and suspension is the better tool.
- Nobody to lift it: the whole scooter is 62.8 lbs folded. If no one in the house can lift that into a trunk, plan on a vehicle lift or ramp, or look at a scooter that comes apart into lighter pieces like the VOCIC D50.
- Anyone who wants to carry a passenger: VOCIC states the D91 is for one rider only.
Three Ways to Fold: Remote, Button or Manual
VOCIC calls it a 3-in-1 folding system. Press the remote and the scooter folds or unfolds itself. Prefer to stand right next to it? Use the one-click button on the scooter. If the battery is flat or you just want to do it by hand, the manual pull fold works too. Folded, it stands upright like a suitcase, about 28.3″ tall, 15.4″ deep and 19.3″ wide according to VOCIC’s product image.
62.8 lbs With an Aluminum Alloy Frame
The aluminum alloy frame keeps the complete scooter, battery included, at 62.8 lbs. That’s the weight to plan around for lifting it into a car. VOCIC also lists 12.3 lbs as the heaviest part when the scooter is taken apart; ask us how it breaks down before you count on lifting it in pieces.
15.5 Miles Per Charge, Up to 4.97 mph
The 24V 270W motor gives a speed range from 0 up to 4.97 mph, so you can creep through a crowded store or keep up with family on the sidewalk. VOCIC lists a range of up to 15.5 miles per charge. Real range drops with rider weight, hills, cold weather and stop-and-go riding, so treat 15.5 miles as a best case and plan your day with some room to spare.
About 3 Hours to Charge
The included charger brings the battery from empty to full in about 3 hours, according to VOCIC. That’s short enough to charge over lunch or while you get ready to go out.
8″ Solid Wheels That Can’t Go Flat
The D91 rolls on 8″ solid PU (polyurethane) tires. There’s no air to check and nothing to puncture, which is what you want on a scooter that rides in car trunks and airport terminals. Solid tires do ride firmer than air tires, so they’re at their best on pavement, indoor floors and smooth paths.
Sizing & Fit
Check these five things before you order:
- Your weight: VOCIC rates the D91 for one rider up to 265 lbs. Include anything heavy you’ll carry in the basket.
- Seat size: the seat is 16.5″ x 15.7″ with a 14.6″ backrest. Sit in a chair and measure across your hips; if you’re wider than about 16″, the armrests may feel snug. They’re removable, which gives a little more room getting on and off.
- Your height: VOCIC doesn’t publish a seat height or a recommended user height for the D91. The overall height adjusts from 33.5″ to 36.6″. If you’re very tall or petite, call us and we’ll check with VOCIC before you buy.
- Turning space: VOCIC lists a 47.2″ minimum turning radius. Measure the narrowest place you need to turn around, such as a hallway, a kitchen or the spot beside the bed. If it’s tighter than that, you’ll back out rather than turn.
- Where you’ll ride: the D91 is at home on sidewalks, store floors, malls, airports and smooth paths. VOCIC doesn’t list ground clearance or a climbing grade, so ask us before you plan on curbs, steep ramps or rough ground.
Not sure? Call us at 585-505-6665 with your height, weight and where you’ll ride, and we’ll tell you honestly whether the D91 fits.
Taking It on a Trip
Folded, the D91 is 28.3″ x 15.4″ x 19.3″, compact enough for many car trunks and SUV cargo areas. Measure your trunk opening before you order, since the scooter goes in whole at 62.8 lbs.
For flights, VOCIC lists the D91’s 12Ah lithium-ion battery as airline compliant. Airlines and the FAA set the rules for mobility devices with lithium batteries, and each airline decides for itself. Call your airline before you book, tell them it’s a folding mobility scooter with a lithium battery, and ask what they need. We can send you the battery details to pass along.
Choosing Your Options
There’s one dropdown: Color. Both colors are the same D91 with the same frame, motor, battery, seat and measurements. Only the color changes.
| Color | VOCIC SKU | What changes |
|---|---|---|
| Red | D91-RD | Same D91 scooter in red |
| Black | D91-BK | Same D91 scooter in black |
Questions about a color? Call us at 585-505-6665.
VOCIC D91 vs. VOCIC D50
Both are VOCIC four-wheel travel scooters rated for 265 lbs with a range of up to 15.5 miles, and they weigh almost the same: 62.8 lbs for the D91, 63.9 lbs for the D50. The difference is how they get into the car. The D91 folds itself with a remote and goes in as one piece. The VOCIC D50 Portable Mobility Scooter comes apart (the seat lifts off and the tiller folds down), so you lift lighter pieces instead of the whole scooter. The D91 is also faster (up to 4.97 mph vs. 3.7 mph) and charges quicker (about 3 hours vs. 6 to 8). The D50 turns in a much tighter space and has a swivel seat. If you want the easiest fold, get the D91. If lifting 62.8 lbs at once is the problem, get the D50.
Common Problem → VOCIC D91 Solution
Problem: Dad’s old travel scooter has to be taken apart every time it goes in the car. The latches pinch his fingers, and by the time it’s loaded he’s too tired to enjoy the outing.
Solution: With the D91, he presses the remote and it folds itself into an upright package. His son lifts it into the trunk in one move, and at the other end it unfolds the same way. Nothing to unlatch, nothing to lose.
“Can he take it on the plane to see the grandkids?” VOCIC lists the battery as airline compliant. Call the airline first, since they make the final call, and we’ll send you the battery details for them.
Care & Battery Tips
Follow the user’s manual that comes with the scooter. A few general habits help any scooter last: charge the battery after each day of riding, keep the scooter dry and store it indoors, wipe the seat and frame with a damp cloth, and check the tires and fold mechanism now and then. If anything feels off, call us at 585-505-6665.
VOCIC lists six months of warranty coverage on the battery and one year on other parts. Ask us for the current terms. As an authorized dealer, we’ll help you with any warranty claim.

Shipping & Returns
Shipping & Return Policy
At MedCare Mobility, we understand that purchasing medical and mobility equipment is an important decision. Our goal is to make the ordering, delivery, and return process as clear and straightforward as possible.
Because many of the products we offer are large, specialized, or shipped directly from manufacturer and distributor warehouses, shipping and return requirements may vary somewhat by product and brand. The policy below explains what you can generally expect when ordering from MedCare Mobility.
Shipping & Order Processing
We ship medical and mobility equipment to customers throughout the United States. Orders are processed as quickly as possible, and tracking information is provided once available.
Processing Time
Most in-stock orders are processed within approximately 1–3 business days. Processing may include order verification, warehouse preparation, packaging, and coordination with the manufacturer or distributor.
Some specialty equipment, made-to-order products, oversized items, or products shipping directly from a manufacturer may require additional processing time. Any estimated processing or lead time shown on an individual product page should be considered part of the expected fulfillment timeframe for that item.
Transit & Delivery Time
Once shipped, many standard orders arrive within approximately 3–7 business days. Larger medical equipment, freight shipments, specialty products, and certain manufacturer-direct orders may require additional transit time.
Tracking information will generally be emailed once the shipment has been processed by the carrier. If you have questions regarding the status of your order, please contact us at info@medcaremobility.com.
Alaska, Hawaii & Special Shipping Areas
Orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and certain remote or limited-access areas may be subject to additional shipping charges. If an additional charge is required after your order is reviewed, we will contact you before proceeding whenever additional payment is necessary.
Freight & Oversized Equipment
Hospital beds, patient lifts, large recliners, ramps, and other oversized medical equipment may ship by freight rather than standard parcel service. Unless a specific delivery service is stated on the product page or order, freight delivery does not automatically include inside delivery, assembly, installation, or removal of packaging.
30-Day Return Policy
We want you to feel comfortable ordering from MedCare Mobility. Most eligible products may be returned when a return is requested within 30 days of delivery, subject to the conditions and exclusions outlined below.
Eligible products generally include:
- Electric and power wheelchairs
- Manual and lightweight wheelchairs
- Mobility scooters
- Walkers and rollators
- Patient lifts
- Wheelchair ramps
- Hospital and homecare beds
- Eligible medical mattresses
- Geriatric and medical recliner chairs
- Overbed tables
- Bathroom benches and shower chairs
- Other eligible medical and mobility equipment
Return eligibility can vary by manufacturer and product type. Products specifically identified as non-returnable, custom, made-to-order, or otherwise subject to special return terms are governed by those terms.
Return Authorization
Please contact us before shipping any product back. Returns must first be approved and issued a Return Authorization (RA) and the appropriate return shipping address.
You may request a return by emailing info@medcaremobility.com or contacting our customer service team through the live chat on our website.
Please do not return merchandise to an address shown on the original shipping label unless specifically instructed to do so. Many products ship directly from manufacturer or distributor warehouses, and the correct return location may be different from the original shipping location.
Condition of Returned Merchandise
To qualify for a return and refund, the product must be returned:
- In brand-new and unused condition
- In its complete original manufacturer packaging
- With all manuals, components, hardware, accessories, and included materials
- Without damage, modification, assembly wear, stains, odors, or other signs of use
- In resalable condition upon inspection by the receiving warehouse or manufacturer
We strongly recommend keeping the original box, pallet, protective materials, and packaging until you are certain that you intend to keep the equipment. Large medical equipment can be difficult or impossible to return safely without its original packaging.
Restocking Fees
Approved returns are subject to a mandatory restocking fee, generally ranging from 15% to 20% of the applicable product price. The exact restocking percentage varies depending on the manufacturer, brand, and type of equipment being returned.
These restocking charges are assessed to us by the manufacturer or distributing warehouse when merchandise is returned. MedCare Mobility does not add the fee simply as a return penalty; when the manufacturer requires the charge, we must pass the applicable amount through as part of processing the return.
If you would like to know the applicable restocking percentage for a particular product before ordering, please contact us and we will be happy to help whenever that information is available from the manufacturer.
Return Shipping & Shipping Charges
The customer is responsible for shipping charges associated with the order when making a standard return.
Customers are responsible for arranging for the approved merchandise to be returned to the return address provided with the Return Authorization. In certain cases, we may be able to provide a prepaid return label or coordinate return transportation for your convenience. When provided, the applicable shipping cost may be deducted from the final refund.
Because some medical equipment is oversized or requires freight transportation, prepaid labels or carrier call tags may not be available for every product. Our customer service team will provide the available return instructions when your return is authorized.
Non-Returnable Products
For health, hygiene, safety, customization, and manufacturer-policy reasons, certain products are not eligible for standard returns.
We currently do not accept returns on:
- Parts & accessories
- Wheelchair cushions and support accessories
- Patient lift slings
- Custom or made-to-order products
- Products specifically identified as non-returnable on the product page
If a non-returnable product arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us promptly. Non-returnable status does not prevent us from assisting with a legitimate shipping damage, defect, warranty, or fulfillment issue in accordance with the applicable manufacturer and carrier procedures.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
We take shipping damage seriously and will work with you to help resolve legitimate delivery issues.
If your product arrives damaged, please notify MedCare Mobility within 48 hours of delivery. Whenever possible, retain the shipping carton, pallet, packaging materials, and the product exactly as received and take clear photographs of the packaging and any visible damage.
Reporting damage promptly is important because carriers and manufacturers have limited timeframes for filing freight and shipping claims.
If you receive an incorrect product or believe there is a manufacturer defect, please contact us before returning or disposing of any merchandise or packaging so that we can provide the appropriate instructions.
Refused Deliveries
Please contact us before refusing a delivery unless the shipment has obvious significant freight damage and the carrier is documenting the damage at delivery.
A shipment that is refused for reasons unrelated to verified shipping damage may be treated as a standard return. Applicable restocking and shipping charges may therefore be deducted from the refund.
Return Shipping Deadline
Once a return has been approved and return instructions or a return label have been issued, the merchandise must be shipped within 72 hours unless MedCare Mobility provides different instructions in writing.
This is particularly important when a return is approaching the end of the applicable return period. Returns shipped outside the authorized timeframe may be refused by the manufacturer or warehouse and may no longer qualify for a refund.
Refund Processing
Refunds are processed after the returned merchandise has been received and inspected by the applicable warehouse or manufacturer and the return has been confirmed to meet the return requirements.
The applicable restocking fee, shipping charges associated with the order, and any other authorized return-related charges will be deducted from the amount eligible for refund.
If returned merchandise is used, damaged, incomplete, missing original packaging or components, or otherwise returned in a condition that prevents the manufacturer or warehouse from accepting it as new and resalable merchandise, the return may be refused or the refund may be reduced in accordance with the manufacturer’s assessment.
Custom & Made-to-Order Products
Products identified as custom, configured, made-to-order, special-order, or manufactured specifically for the customer cannot generally be canceled once production or manufacturer processing has begun and are not eligible for standard returns.
For custom products, cancellation may only be possible during the initial processing period and before production or customization begins. Because production schedules vary by manufacturer, we encourage customers to contact us immediately if a change is required.
If a custom product arrives damaged or has a legitimate manufacturing defect, we will work with the manufacturer to pursue the appropriate resolution, replacement components, repair, or other available remedy under the applicable manufacturer policy or warranty.
Questions Before Ordering?
Medical equipment can vary considerably in size, configuration, compatibility, and intended use. If you are unsure whether a product will work for your needs, we strongly encourage you to contact us before placing your order.
Our team is happy to help review product specifications, dimensions, options, compatibility, and available manufacturer information so you can make a more informed purchasing decision and reduce the possibility of needing a return.
For shipping, return, or product questions, contact us at info@medcaremobility.com or speak with us through the live chat on our website.
