Description
Medacure Full Body Mesh Sling – Mesh Hoyer Lift Sling for Bathing, Showering and Transfers, 660 lb
The Medacure Full Body Mesh Sling is a mesh Hoyer lift sling made for patients who need full support in wet or warm conditions. The open mesh lets water drain straight through and dries far faster than solid fabric, so it works as a shower sling for Hoyer lift transfers to a shower chair, bath or commode, and it breathes better for patients who run warm. Medacure rates it for 660 lbs. Not sure which sling you need? Start with our patient lift sling buying guide on sling types, sizing and lift compatibility, then the patient lift sling knowledge base for quick answers.
It has the same full body shape as Medacure’s solid sling, supporting the head, back and thighs, with four color-coded loops on each strap, back straps for the caregiver and size-coded trim. As a mesh full body sling it comes in Medium, Large and X-Large.
Need toilet access too? See the Medacure commode sling, or the standard Medacure full body sling for everyday transfers. Pick your size above, or call 585-505-6665 for sizing help.

Not sure which sling type you need? Our patient lift sling knowledge base explains each sling family, and the sling assessment tool narrows it down in a few questions.
Who May Need a Different Sling?
- Toileting: this sling has a full seat. The Medacure commode sling adds a toileting opening.
- Small adults: the mesh version starts at Medium. The solid full body sling comes in Small.
- Patients who can bear some weight: a sit-to-stand sling may suit them better.
- Clip-style lifts: this is a loop sling. Check your spreader bar or call us.
660 lb Weight Capacity
Medacure rates the mesh full body sling for 660 lbs. Your safe limit is always the lower of the sling rating and the lift rating.
Breathable Mesh That Drains and Dries Fast
Solid fabric holds water and stays damp for hours. Mesh lets water run through, so the patient is not left sitting in a wet sling during or after a shower, and the sling is ready again sooner. The open weave also lets air move, which many patients find cooler and more comfortable.
Color-Coded Loop Straps
Each strap has four loops in different colors. Hook the same color on both sides to keep the patient level; shorter loops sit the patient more upright and longer loops recline them. Caregivers can note the color that works and repeat it every transfer, which keeps lifts consistent between shifts and family members.
Back Straps for Caregiver Assistance
Webbing straps across the back of the sling give the caregiver a secure handhold to guide the patient while the lift raises, lowers or turns them, which helps when lining someone up over a wheelchair seat, commode or bed.
Using a Mesh Sling for Bathing
Place the sling the same way as any full body sling: roll the patient, position the sling from shoulders to tailbone, bring the leg pieces under the thighs and hook matching colors on both sides. For bathing, transfer onto a shower chair or into the tub with the lift, and keep the loops attached if your care plan calls for it. Rinse and dry the sling after each shower and inspect it before the next use.
Mesh Sling vs. Solid Full Body Sling
The solid sling is the everyday choice and feels a little firmer. The mesh sling is the bathing and warm-weather choice. Many caregivers keep one of each. If toileting and bathing happen together, Medacure’s mesh sling with commode opening combines both.
Sizes and Color-Coded Trim
Each size has its own Medacure item number, and the trim color tells caregivers the size at a glance:
| Size | Medacure Item # | Trim Color |
| Medium | M200-M | Purple |
| Large | L300-M | Green |
| X-Large | XL400-M | Blue |
Fit matters more than weight alone. A sling that is too big lets the patient slip; one that is too small presses into the body. If you are between sizes, call us at 585-505-6665 with the patient's height, weight and build.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a mesh Hoyer lift sling used for?
It is a full body lift sling made from open mesh. It is used for bathing and showering transfers, and for patients who get warm in solid fabric, because it drains and dries quickly.
What is the weight capacity?
Medacure rates the mesh full body sling for 660 lbs. Your safe limit is always the lower of the sling rating and the lift rating.
Which sizes are available?
Medium M200-M (purple trim), Large L300-M (green) and X-Large XL400-M (blue).
Can a mesh sling go in the shower?
Yes, that is what the mesh is for. Water drains through it and it dries much faster than a solid sling.
Will it fit my lift?
It is a loop sling with four color-coded loops on each strap, made for hook-style spreader bars. Clip-style cradles need a clip sling. Send us your lift model if you are unsure.
Does it have a commode opening?
No, this version has a full seat. For toileting choose a commode sling or Medacure’s mesh sling with commode opening.
What warranty does Medacure offer?
Medacure lists a limited lifetime warranty on its slings.

Shipping & Returns
Shipping & Return Policy
At MedCare Mobility, we understand that purchasing medical and mobility equipment is an important decision. Our goal is to make the ordering, delivery, and return process as clear and straightforward as possible.
Because many of the products we offer are large, specialized, or shipped directly from manufacturer and distributor warehouses, shipping and return requirements may vary somewhat by product and brand. The policy below explains what you can generally expect when ordering from MedCare Mobility.
Shipping & Order Processing
We ship medical and mobility equipment to customers throughout the United States. Orders are processed as quickly as possible, and tracking information is provided once available.
Processing Time
Most in-stock orders are processed within approximately 1–3 business days. Processing may include order verification, warehouse preparation, packaging, and coordination with the manufacturer or distributor.
Some specialty equipment, made-to-order products, oversized items, or products shipping directly from a manufacturer may require additional processing time. Any estimated processing or lead time shown on an individual product page should be considered part of the expected fulfillment timeframe for that item.
Transit & Delivery Time
Once shipped, many standard orders arrive within approximately 3–7 business days. Larger medical equipment, freight shipments, specialty products, and certain manufacturer-direct orders may require additional transit time.
Tracking information will generally be emailed once the shipment has been processed by the carrier. If you have questions regarding the status of your order, please contact us at info@medcaremobility.com.
Alaska, Hawaii & Special Shipping Areas
Orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and certain remote or limited-access areas may be subject to additional shipping charges. If an additional charge is required after your order is reviewed, we will contact you before proceeding whenever additional payment is necessary.
Freight & Oversized Equipment
Hospital beds, patient lifts, large recliners, ramps, and other oversized medical equipment may ship by freight rather than standard parcel service. Unless a specific delivery service is stated on the product page or order, freight delivery does not automatically include inside delivery, assembly, installation, or removal of packaging.
30-Day Return Policy
We want you to feel comfortable ordering from MedCare Mobility. Most eligible products may be returned when a return is requested within 30 days of delivery, subject to the conditions and exclusions outlined below.
Eligible products generally include:
- Electric and power wheelchairs
- Manual and lightweight wheelchairs
- Mobility scooters
- Walkers and rollators
- Patient lifts
- Wheelchair ramps
- Hospital and homecare beds
- Eligible medical mattresses
- Geriatric and medical recliner chairs
- Overbed tables
- Bathroom benches and shower chairs
- Other eligible medical and mobility equipment
Return eligibility can vary by manufacturer and product type. Products specifically identified as non-returnable, custom, made-to-order, or otherwise subject to special return terms are governed by those terms.
Return Authorization
Please contact us before shipping any product back. Returns must first be approved and issued a Return Authorization (RA) and the appropriate return shipping address.
You may request a return by emailing info@medcaremobility.com or contacting our customer service team through the live chat on our website.
Please do not return merchandise to an address shown on the original shipping label unless specifically instructed to do so. Many products ship directly from manufacturer or distributor warehouses, and the correct return location may be different from the original shipping location.
Condition of Returned Merchandise
To qualify for a return and refund, the product must be returned:
- In brand-new and unused condition
- In its complete original manufacturer packaging
- With all manuals, components, hardware, accessories, and included materials
- Without damage, modification, assembly wear, stains, odors, or other signs of use
- In resalable condition upon inspection by the receiving warehouse or manufacturer
We strongly recommend keeping the original box, pallet, protective materials, and packaging until you are certain that you intend to keep the equipment. Large medical equipment can be difficult or impossible to return safely without its original packaging.
Restocking Fees
Approved returns are subject to a mandatory restocking fee, generally ranging from 15% to 20% of the applicable product price. The exact restocking percentage varies depending on the manufacturer, brand, and type of equipment being returned.
These restocking charges are assessed to us by the manufacturer or distributing warehouse when merchandise is returned. MedCare Mobility does not add the fee simply as a return penalty; when the manufacturer requires the charge, we must pass the applicable amount through as part of processing the return.
If you would like to know the applicable restocking percentage for a particular product before ordering, please contact us and we will be happy to help whenever that information is available from the manufacturer.
Return Shipping & Shipping Charges
The customer is responsible for shipping charges associated with the order when making a standard return.
Customers are responsible for arranging for the approved merchandise to be returned to the return address provided with the Return Authorization. In certain cases, we may be able to provide a prepaid return label or coordinate return transportation for your convenience. When provided, the applicable shipping cost may be deducted from the final refund.
Because some medical equipment is oversized or requires freight transportation, prepaid labels or carrier call tags may not be available for every product. Our customer service team will provide the available return instructions when your return is authorized.
Non-Returnable Products
For health, hygiene, safety, customization, and manufacturer-policy reasons, certain products are not eligible for standard returns.
We currently do not accept returns on:
- Parts & accessories
- Wheelchair cushions and support accessories
- Patient lift slings
- Custom or made-to-order products
- Products specifically identified as non-returnable on the product page
If a non-returnable product arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us promptly. Non-returnable status does not prevent us from assisting with a legitimate shipping damage, defect, warranty, or fulfillment issue in accordance with the applicable manufacturer and carrier procedures.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
We take shipping damage seriously and will work with you to help resolve legitimate delivery issues.
If your product arrives damaged, please notify MedCare Mobility within 48 hours of delivery. Whenever possible, retain the shipping carton, pallet, packaging materials, and the product exactly as received and take clear photographs of the packaging and any visible damage.
Reporting damage promptly is important because carriers and manufacturers have limited timeframes for filing freight and shipping claims.
If you receive an incorrect product or believe there is a manufacturer defect, please contact us before returning or disposing of any merchandise or packaging so that we can provide the appropriate instructions.
Refused Deliveries
Please contact us before refusing a delivery unless the shipment has obvious significant freight damage and the carrier is documenting the damage at delivery.
A shipment that is refused for reasons unrelated to verified shipping damage may be treated as a standard return. Applicable restocking and shipping charges may therefore be deducted from the refund.
Return Shipping Deadline
Once a return has been approved and return instructions or a return label have been issued, the merchandise must be shipped within 72 hours unless MedCare Mobility provides different instructions in writing.
This is particularly important when a return is approaching the end of the applicable return period. Returns shipped outside the authorized timeframe may be refused by the manufacturer or warehouse and may no longer qualify for a refund.
Refund Processing
Refunds are processed after the returned merchandise has been received and inspected by the applicable warehouse or manufacturer and the return has been confirmed to meet the return requirements.
The applicable restocking fee, shipping charges associated with the order, and any other authorized return-related charges will be deducted from the amount eligible for refund.
If returned merchandise is used, damaged, incomplete, missing original packaging or components, or otherwise returned in a condition that prevents the manufacturer or warehouse from accepting it as new and resalable merchandise, the return may be refused or the refund may be reduced in accordance with the manufacturer’s assessment.
Custom & Made-to-Order Products
Products identified as custom, configured, made-to-order, special-order, or manufactured specifically for the customer cannot generally be canceled once production or manufacturer processing has begun and are not eligible for standard returns.
For custom products, cancellation may only be possible during the initial processing period and before production or customization begins. Because production schedules vary by manufacturer, we encourage customers to contact us immediately if a change is required.
If a custom product arrives damaged or has a legitimate manufacturing defect, we will work with the manufacturer to pursue the appropriate resolution, replacement components, repair, or other available remedy under the applicable manufacturer policy or warranty.
Questions Before Ordering?
Medical equipment can vary considerably in size, configuration, compatibility, and intended use. If you are unsure whether a product will work for your needs, we strongly encourage you to contact us before placing your order.
Our team is happy to help review product specifications, dimensions, options, compatibility, and available manufacturer information so you can make a more informed purchasing decision and reduce the possibility of needing a return.
For shipping, return, or product questions, contact us at info@medcaremobility.com or speak with us through the live chat on our website.
