Description

Stander Elite Travel Rollator HD – Heavy Duty Folding Rollator That Holds 450 lbs and Folds to 10″ x 16″

The Stander Elite Travel Rollator HD is a bariatric travel rollator built for people who need a 450 lb rating but still want something they can fold and take with them. Stander calls it the world’s most portable bariatric rollator: the anodized aluminum frame folds down to about 10″ x 16″, 3 times smaller than the average bariatric rollator, according to Stander.

As a 450 lb rollator, it has the things a larger user actually needs: an extra-wide 21″ x 10″ seat with a backrest, four 8″ wheels, locking hand brakes and handles that adjust from 31″ to 38.25″. Stander says it’s meant for individuals between 200 and 450 lbs who can manage a 30 lb rollator.

It’s a heavy duty folding rollator with storage built in, too: a faux-leather two-pocket organizer pouch and a hanging basket come with it. It arrives ready to use in Champagne Gold.

Why Choose the Elite Travel Rollator HD?

Most bariatric rollators are big, wide and hard to get into a car. That’s the problem this one solves. It holds up to 450 lbs on a wide seat, yet Stander’s EZ Fold-N-Go frame collapses to roughly 10″ x 16″, so it fits in a trunk, a closet or the space behind a car seat.

It also comes ready to go. There’s no assembly, the pouch and basket are included, and the handles fit a wide range of heights.

Who Is the Elite Travel Rollator HD Best For?

Stander designed this rollator for:

  • People between 200 and 450 lbs, per Stander, who need a seat to rest on
  • Bariatric users who travel by car, bus, train or plane and need a rollator that folds small
  • Users who want a wider seat: 21″ across, with a backrest
  • Taller users: the handles reach 38.25″
  • Anyone who can lift and manage a 30 lb rollator, or has someone who can

Comparing heavy-duty options? Our Complete Walker Buying Guide explains the differences, and the Walker Assessment Tool gives a quick recommendation.

Who May Need a Different Rollator?

  • Users under 200 lbs: Stander itself recommends the lighter Stander Elite Travel Rollator, which weighs 14.5 lbs and holds 250 lbs.
  • Users over 450 lbs: this rollator isn’t rated for you. Call us and we’ll help you find a higher-capacity walker.
  • People who can’t lift 30 lbs: the HD weighs 30 lbs. If no one can help load it, a lighter rollator may be easier to live with.
  • Shorter users: the handles go down to 31″. If your wrist crease is lower, look at the Short size of the Stander Elite Travel Rollator, if you’re within its 250 lb limit.
  • Anyone who needs to be pushed while seated: a rollator isn’t a transport chair. Lock the brakes before sitting and don’t move it while seated.

450 lb Weight Capacity

Stander rates the Elite Travel Rollator HD for up to 450 lbs, and its product page says it’s intended for individuals between 200 and 450 lbs. That rating covers walking with it and sitting on the seat.

Extra-Wide 21″ x 10″ Seat With Backrest

The seat measures 21″ wide by 10″ deep, and Stander fixes its height at 22″. The built-in backrest gives you something to lean on when you stop to rest. Lock both brakes first, then sit.

Folds to About 10″ x 16″

Stander lists the collapsed size at 10″ x 16″. That’s small for any rollator, and very small for a bariatric one. Stander says it folds 3 times smaller than the average bariatric rollator. At 30 lbs it is heavier than a standard rollator, so plan for who will lift it into the car.

Handles That Adjust From 31″ to 38.25″

Handle height adjusts from 31″ to 38.25″, one of the widest ranges in Stander’s rollator line. Set the handles near your wrist crease when you stand straight with your arms relaxed, so your elbows bend slightly as you walk.

Four 8″ Wheels and Locking Hand Brakes

Four 8″ wheels roll over thresholds, sidewalks and parking lots. The hand brakes slow you down when you pull the levers up and lock the wheels when you push them down. If the brakes start to feel loose, turn the adjustment barrel at the bottom of the brake cable until the brake sits close to the wheel while still letting it spin freely.

Choosing Your Options

There’s no dropdown on this page. Stander makes the Elite Travel Rollator HD in one size and one color:

Stander item # Color Handle height Weight capacity
7680-CG Champagne Gold 31″ to 38.25″ 450 lbs

Elite Travel Rollator HD vs. Stander EZ Fold-N-Go Rollator HD

Stander’s comparison chart lists the same core numbers for both of its heavy-duty folding rollators: 30 lbs, 450 lb capacity and 31″ to 38.25″ handles, with a basket and pouch included. The Elite Travel HD is the Elite line version, with a Champagne Gold anodized aluminum frame and a faux-leather organizer pouch and basket. If you like the look of the Elite line, choose this one. If you’d like to compare, see the Stander EZ Fold-N-Go Rollator HD.

Common Problem → Elite Travel Rollator HD Solution

Problem: Uncle Ray needs a rollator rated over 300 lbs with a seat wide enough to actually sit on. The heavy-duty rollators he’s tried are so bulky they won’t fit in the car with his wife’s suitcase, so he stays home.

Solution: The Elite Travel Rollator HD holds 450 lbs on a 21″ seat and folds to about 10″ x 16″. It goes in the trunk with room to spare, and his wallet and phone ride in the organizer pouch.

“Is it really sturdy enough for him?” Stander rates it for up to 450 lbs, and it’s designed for people between 200 and 450 lbs.

Sizing & Fit

  • Handle height: measure from the floor to your wrist crease in everyday shoes. This model fits 31″ to 38.25″.
  • Seat: 21″ wide x 10″ deep, 22″ off the floor.
  • Open size: 25″ wide x 27″ deep. Every doorway and hallway on your route should be wider than 25″.
  • Folded size: about 10″ x 16″.
  • User weight: Stander says 200 to 450 lbs.

Care & Cleaning

Read the Stander instructions that come with the rollator before first use. Check the brakes each time you use it, because cables stretch and wheels wear over time. As general care, wipe the frame, seat and pouch with a damp cloth and mild soap, dry them, and keep the wheels free of hair and debris. Stander sells replacement pouches, baskets, 8″ wheels and back straps for its heavy-duty rollators. If the brakes don’t hold, stop using it and call us at 585-505-6665.

What’s Included

The rollator comes fully assembled with a faux-leather two-pocket organizer pouch and a hanging basket. Unfold it and set the handle height.

Warranty

Stander’s instructions for the 7680 list a 1-year limited warranty against defects in material and workmanship for the original purchaser. As an authorized Stander dealer, we’ll help with any claim. Call 585-505-6665.

Shipping & Returns

Shipping & Return Policy

At MedCare Mobility, we understand that purchasing medical and mobility equipment is an important decision. Our goal is to make the ordering, delivery, and return process as clear and straightforward as possible.

Because many of the products we offer are large, specialized, or shipped directly from manufacturer and distributor warehouses, shipping and return requirements may vary somewhat by product and brand. The policy below explains what you can generally expect when ordering from MedCare Mobility.

Shipping & Order Processing

We ship medical and mobility equipment to customers throughout the United States. Orders are processed as quickly as possible, and tracking information is provided once available.

Processing Time

Most in-stock orders are processed within approximately 1–3 business days. Processing may include order verification, warehouse preparation, packaging, and coordination with the manufacturer or distributor.

Some specialty equipment, made-to-order products, oversized items, or products shipping directly from a manufacturer may require additional processing time. Any estimated processing or lead time shown on an individual product page should be considered part of the expected fulfillment timeframe for that item.

Transit & Delivery Time

Once shipped, many standard orders arrive within approximately 3–7 business days. Larger medical equipment, freight shipments, specialty products, and certain manufacturer-direct orders may require additional transit time.

Tracking information will generally be emailed once the shipment has been processed by the carrier. If you have questions regarding the status of your order, please contact us at info@medcaremobility.com.

Alaska, Hawaii & Special Shipping Areas

Orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and certain remote or limited-access areas may be subject to additional shipping charges. If an additional charge is required after your order is reviewed, we will contact you before proceeding whenever additional payment is necessary.

Freight & Oversized Equipment

Hospital beds, patient lifts, large recliners, ramps, and other oversized medical equipment may ship by freight rather than standard parcel service. Unless a specific delivery service is stated on the product page or order, freight delivery does not automatically include inside delivery, assembly, installation, or removal of packaging.

30-Day Return Policy

We want you to feel comfortable ordering from MedCare Mobility. Most eligible products may be returned when a return is requested within 30 days of delivery, subject to the conditions and exclusions outlined below.

Eligible products generally include:

  • Electric and power wheelchairs
  • Manual and lightweight wheelchairs
  • Mobility scooters
  • Walkers and rollators
  • Patient lifts
  • Wheelchair ramps
  • Hospital and homecare beds
  • Eligible medical mattresses
  • Geriatric and medical recliner chairs
  • Overbed tables
  • Bathroom benches and shower chairs
  • Other eligible medical and mobility equipment

Return eligibility can vary by manufacturer and product type. Products specifically identified as non-returnable, custom, made-to-order, or otherwise subject to special return terms are governed by those terms.

Return Authorization

Please contact us before shipping any product back. Returns must first be approved and issued a Return Authorization (RA) and the appropriate return shipping address.

You may request a return by emailing info@medcaremobility.com or contacting our customer service team through the live chat on our website.

Please do not return merchandise to an address shown on the original shipping label unless specifically instructed to do so. Many products ship directly from manufacturer or distributor warehouses, and the correct return location may be different from the original shipping location.

Condition of Returned Merchandise

To qualify for a return and refund, the product must be returned:

  • In brand-new and unused condition
  • In its complete original manufacturer packaging
  • With all manuals, components, hardware, accessories, and included materials
  • Without damage, modification, assembly wear, stains, odors, or other signs of use
  • In resalable condition upon inspection by the receiving warehouse or manufacturer

We strongly recommend keeping the original box, pallet, protective materials, and packaging until you are certain that you intend to keep the equipment. Large medical equipment can be difficult or impossible to return safely without its original packaging.

Restocking Fees

Approved returns are subject to a mandatory restocking fee, generally ranging from 15% to 20% of the applicable product price. The exact restocking percentage varies depending on the manufacturer, brand, and type of equipment being returned.

These restocking charges are assessed to us by the manufacturer or distributing warehouse when merchandise is returned. MedCare Mobility does not add the fee simply as a return penalty; when the manufacturer requires the charge, we must pass the applicable amount through as part of processing the return.

If you would like to know the applicable restocking percentage for a particular product before ordering, please contact us and we will be happy to help whenever that information is available from the manufacturer.

Return Shipping & Shipping Charges

The customer is responsible for shipping charges associated with the order when making a standard return.

Customers are responsible for arranging for the approved merchandise to be returned to the return address provided with the Return Authorization. In certain cases, we may be able to provide a prepaid return label or coordinate return transportation for your convenience. When provided, the applicable shipping cost may be deducted from the final refund.

Because some medical equipment is oversized or requires freight transportation, prepaid labels or carrier call tags may not be available for every product. Our customer service team will provide the available return instructions when your return is authorized.

Non-Returnable Products

For health, hygiene, safety, customization, and manufacturer-policy reasons, certain products are not eligible for standard returns.

We currently do not accept returns on:

  • Parts & accessories
  • Wheelchair cushions and support accessories
  • Patient lift slings
  • Custom or made-to-order products
  • Products specifically identified as non-returnable on the product page

If a non-returnable product arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us promptly. Non-returnable status does not prevent us from assisting with a legitimate shipping damage, defect, warranty, or fulfillment issue in accordance with the applicable manufacturer and carrier procedures.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

We take shipping damage seriously and will work with you to help resolve legitimate delivery issues.

If your product arrives damaged, please notify MedCare Mobility within 48 hours of delivery. Whenever possible, retain the shipping carton, pallet, packaging materials, and the product exactly as received and take clear photographs of the packaging and any visible damage.

Reporting damage promptly is important because carriers and manufacturers have limited timeframes for filing freight and shipping claims.

If you receive an incorrect product or believe there is a manufacturer defect, please contact us before returning or disposing of any merchandise or packaging so that we can provide the appropriate instructions.

Refused Deliveries

Please contact us before refusing a delivery unless the shipment has obvious significant freight damage and the carrier is documenting the damage at delivery.

A shipment that is refused for reasons unrelated to verified shipping damage may be treated as a standard return. Applicable restocking and shipping charges may therefore be deducted from the refund.

Return Shipping Deadline

Once a return has been approved and return instructions or a return label have been issued, the merchandise must be shipped within 72 hours unless MedCare Mobility provides different instructions in writing.

This is particularly important when a return is approaching the end of the applicable return period. Returns shipped outside the authorized timeframe may be refused by the manufacturer or warehouse and may no longer qualify for a refund.

Refund Processing

Refunds are processed after the returned merchandise has been received and inspected by the applicable warehouse or manufacturer and the return has been confirmed to meet the return requirements.

The applicable restocking fee, shipping charges associated with the order, and any other authorized return-related charges will be deducted from the amount eligible for refund.

If returned merchandise is used, damaged, incomplete, missing original packaging or components, or otherwise returned in a condition that prevents the manufacturer or warehouse from accepting it as new and resalable merchandise, the return may be refused or the refund may be reduced in accordance with the manufacturer’s assessment.

Custom & Made-to-Order Products

Products identified as custom, configured, made-to-order, special-order, or manufactured specifically for the customer cannot generally be canceled once production or manufacturer processing has begun and are not eligible for standard returns.

For custom products, cancellation may only be possible during the initial processing period and before production or customization begins. Because production schedules vary by manufacturer, we encourage customers to contact us immediately if a change is required.

If a custom product arrives damaged or has a legitimate manufacturing defect, we will work with the manufacturer to pursue the appropriate resolution, replacement components, repair, or other available remedy under the applicable manufacturer policy or warranty.

Questions Before Ordering?

Medical equipment can vary considerably in size, configuration, compatibility, and intended use. If you are unsure whether a product will work for your needs, we strongly encourage you to contact us before placing your order.

Our team is happy to help review product specifications, dimensions, options, compatibility, and available manufacturer information so you can make a more informed purchasing decision and reduce the possibility of needing a return.

For shipping, return, or product questions, contact us at info@medcaremobility.com or speak with us through the live chat on our website.
