Description

VOCIC AX07 Electric Bath Lift Chair – Lightweight 300 lb Floor & Bathtub Lift

The VOCIC AX07 electric bath lift chair is a lightweight, powered lifting solution designed to help older adults, people with reduced leg strength, and mobility-limited users move between a very low seated position and a more practical transfer height. Weighing approximately 23 lbs while supporting up to 300 lbs, the AX07 combines substantial lifting capacity with a compact design that is easier for caregivers and family members to move, position, and store.

The powered seat lowers to approximately 2.3 inches and raises to approximately 18.9 inches, allowing the AX07 to function both as a bath lift chair and as a floor-level lifting aid. In a compatible bathtub, it can lower a seated user closer to the bottom of the tub and raise the user again after bathing. Outside the bathtub, its low starting position can help an appropriate user who needs assistance getting up from floor level.

For customers searching for a lightweight lift for bath use without giving up capacity, the AX07 brings together a 300 lb weight capacity, IP68 waterproof construction, rechargeable hand controller, six suction cups, foldable two-piece design, and approximately 10 lifting cycles per full charge. It is particularly well suited to households where portability, easy storage, wet-environment use, and floor-level lifting capability are all important considerations.

Why Choose the VOCIC AX07 Electric Bath Lift Chair?

For many people with limited mobility, sitting during a bath is not the biggest challenge. The difficult part is safely lowering the body toward the bottom of the bathtub and getting back up afterward. A standard shower chair provides seating, but it does not perform that vertical movement for the user.

The AX07 addresses this problem with an electrically powered lifting system. Once the user is appropriately positioned, the seat can move from approximately 2.3 inches at its lowest position to approximately 18.9 inches at its highest position using the supplied rechargeable hand controller.

What makes the AX07 especially notable is that it provides this lifting capability in a chair weighing only approximately 23 lbs. That can make a meaningful difference when a caregiver needs to remove the chair from a bathtub, relocate it within the home, or store it between uses.

Its low starting height also gives the AX07 a second purpose beyond bathing: it can provide powered lifting assistance from near floor level for an appropriate seated user.

How Does the AX07 Electric Bath Lift Chair Work?

The AX07 uses a powered linear lifting mechanism controlled through a rechargeable waterproof hand controller. After the chair has been correctly assembled and securely positioned, the user can be raised or lowered while remaining seated.

For bathtub use, the chair is positioned on a compatible smooth bathtub surface using its six suction cups. The user transfers onto the seat at an appropriate height and then uses the controller to lower the chair toward the bottom of the tub. After bathing, the lift raises the user back toward transfer height.

When used as a floor lift, the approximately 2.3-inch minimum seat height allows the AX07 to begin very close to floor level and then raise the user toward approximately 18.9 inches.

The lift provides the vertical movement, but users and caregivers still need to consider how the person will transfer onto and off the seat, their balance and trunk control, seating fit, and whether assistance is required during positioning or transfers.

Lightweight 23 lb Design with 300 lb Capacity

One of the strongest characteristics of the AX07 is its combination of approximately 23 lb product weight and 300 lb maximum load capacity.

Product weight is easy to overlook when comparing bath lifts, but it becomes important whenever the chair needs to be installed, removed, repositioned, transported, cleaned, or stored. A heavier lift may work well while installed but can be difficult for a caregiver or family member to handle between uses.

At approximately 23 lbs, the AX07 is designed to make routine handling more manageable while maintaining substantial support for adult users up to its stated 300 lb capacity.

Anyone responsible for moving the chair should still make sure they can safely handle its weight, especially around wet bathroom surfaces.

Lowers to Approximately 2.3 Inches

Minimum seat height is one of the most important specifications when choosing an electric bath lift chair. A lower seat allows the user to descend closer to the bottom of the bathtub instead of remaining at the elevated height of a traditional shower chair or transfer bench.

The AX07 lowers to approximately 2.3 inches. This gives users who are appropriate for the chair a much lower bathing position while eliminating the need to physically lower their entire body toward the tub floor under their own strength.

The very low starting position is also what allows the AX07 to serve as a floor-level lifting aid outside the bathtub.

Raises to Approximately 18.9 Inches

After bathing or when providing floor-level lifting assistance, the AX07 raises the seated user to approximately 18.9 inches.

Rather than requiring the user to stand directly from near floor level or from the bottom of a bathtub, the powered lift brings the person toward a more practical seated transfer height.

This approximately 16.6-inch vertical travel range is particularly relevant for people whose primary limitation is difficulty lowering themselves into or rising from very low positions.

The maximum seat height should be compared with the intended bathtub, transfer surface, and user’s individual transfer requirements before purchase.

IP68 Waterproof Design for Bathtub Use

Because an electric bath lift chair operates directly in a wet environment, waterproof construction is an essential consideration. The AX07 has an IP68 waterproof rating and incorporates an enclosed motor and waterproof connection design for its intended wet-environment operation.

The chair and connected operating components are designed to continue functioning in the bathtub when properly assembled and used. The rechargeable controller allows the chair to operate without a household power cord running to the lift during bathing.

The charger itself is not waterproof and should never be submerged or treated as a bathtub component. Charging, connection, cleaning, and storage should always follow the supplied instructions.

Six Suction Cups for Bathtub Stability

The AX07 base uses six suction cups to help secure the chair to an appropriate smooth, hard surface during operation.

This stabilization system is particularly important inside a bathtub because the chair needs to remain properly positioned as the user moves through the powered lifting range.

The suction cups can also be used on other compatible smooth surfaces, including appropriate tile and polished hard flooring.

Suction performance depends on the surface. The attachment area should be clean, smooth, and compatible with suction cups, and secure attachment should be checked before each use. Textured, uneven, damaged, or otherwise incompatible surfaces may not provide adequate suction.

Rechargeable Battery with Approximately 10 Uses

The AX07 uses a 14.8V / 2.2Ah rechargeable battery system incorporated into its hand-control system.

Under normal operating conditions, a fully charged battery can provide approximately 10 uses. Actual performance can vary depending on user weight, battery condition, operating conditions, and how the lift is used.

Battery-powered operation is particularly important in a bathroom because the chair does not need to remain connected to household electrical power while raising or lowering the user.

Users should monitor the available charge and maintain the battery according to the supplied instructions rather than waiting until lifting assistance is needed to discover that the battery requires charging.

Compact Two-Piece Design for Easier Setup

The AX07 uses a two-piece construction with a simplified three-step installation process. Its back panel incorporates the linear drive and back pad, while the base contains the seat cushion and six suction cups.

This modular construction can make routine setup, removal, and storage more practical than a large one-piece lifting device.

The AX07 can also be folded from front to back for storage, helping reduce the amount of space it occupies when the lift is not being used.

For households with smaller bathrooms or users who do not want a bath lift permanently occupying the bathtub, portability and storage can be nearly as important as the lifting specifications themselves.

AX07 as an Electric Floor Lift

The AX07 is not limited to bathtub use. Its approximately 2.3-inch minimum seat height allows the same powered lifting system to provide assistance from near floor level.

For an appropriate user who is already at a low position and cannot readily rise because of reduced leg strength or mobility, the chair can raise the seated person toward approximately 18.9 inches.

This dual functionality can be particularly useful for older adults or people with mobility limitations who experience difficulty with both bathtub access and rising from floor-level positions.

If a person is on the floor because of a fall, however, the priority is determining whether an injury may have occurred. Head impact, suspected fracture, significant pain, loss of consciousness, new weakness, or other concerning symptoms require appropriate medical attention rather than automatically lifting the person.

Electric Bath Lift Chair vs. Standard Shower Chair

An electric bath lift chair and a standard shower chair solve different problems.

A shower chair provides a fixed seat so the user can remain seated while showering. It generally does not lower the person toward the bottom of a bathtub or raise the person afterward.

The AX07 provides powered vertical movement from approximately 2.3 to 18.9 inches. This makes it more relevant for someone who wants to sit lower in the bathtub but no longer has the strength or mobility needed to safely lower and raise their body.

If the user only needs a stable elevated seat for showering, a conventional shower chair may be sufficient. If the challenge is actually getting down into and back up from the bathtub, a powered bath lift addresses a different need.

Bath Lift Chair vs. Tub Transfer Bench

A tub transfer bench typically extends across the side of a bathtub, allowing the user to sit before moving their legs into the tub. It is particularly useful when stepping over the tub wall is the primary problem.

The user generally remains at an elevated height rather than being lowered toward the bottom of the bathtub.

The AX07 bath lift chair instead provides powered vertical movement. It is more relevant when the user wants a lower bathing position but needs assistance getting down and back up.

Some users may primarily need help crossing the tub wall, while others primarily need help with vertical movement. Understanding which part of the bathing transfer is difficult is important when deciding between a transfer bench and a powered lift for bath use.

AX07 vs. Heavier Bath Lift Chairs

The AX07’s approximately 23 lb product weight is particularly important for households where the bath lift will regularly be installed and removed.

A heavier bath lift may provide appropriate bathing assistance but become inconvenient when a caregiver needs to lift it out of the bathtub or move it to another room.

The AX07 focuses on combining lightweight handling with a 300 lb capacity, making portability one of its strongest differentiators.

This does not mean every user should simply choose the lightest bath lift. Seat dimensions, user fit, lifting range, stabilization, bathtub compatibility, and transfer requirements remain equally important.

Will the AX07 Fit My Bathtub?

Before buying any electric bath lift chair, measure the intended bathtub rather than assuming that a compact lift will fit every tub.

The AX07 has a listed seat measuring approximately 17.7 inches long by 13.4 inches wide. The lift also needs adequate room for its base, suction cups, back section, and complete raising and lowering movement.

Measure the bathtub’s usable interior floor, width, length, depth, contours, drain location, and any features that could interfere with the chair. Also consider the space needed for the user to transfer onto and off the raised seat.

Because the AX07 relies on suction cups for stabilization in the bathtub, the tub floor must also provide an appropriate smooth surface for secure attachment.

Is the 13.4-Inch Seat Wide Enough?

Seat dimensions deserve particular attention with the AX07 because its lightweight, compact design includes a seat approximately 13.4 inches wide and 17.7 inches long.

The 300 lb maximum capacity indicates how much weight the lift is designed to support; it does not determine whether the seat dimensions are appropriate for every person within that weight range.

A buyer should therefore compare the user’s seating requirements with the actual seat dimensions before ordering. A person who requires a wider seating surface may need a different bath lift even if their body weight is well below the AX07’s maximum capacity.

This distinction between weight capacity and physical seat fit is especially important when comparing compact bath lifts.

Who Is the VOCIC AX07 Best For?

The AX07 is especially relevant for older adults, people with reduced leg strength, adults with mobility limitations, and caregivers looking for a lightweight powered lifting solution.

It is particularly attractive when the user has difficulty lowering into and rising from a bathtub but the caregiver also wants a lift that is relatively easy to remove and store after use.

Its ability to provide floor-level lifting assistance adds another layer of usefulness for a household where the same person may also struggle to rise from very low positions elsewhere in the home.

The AX07 may not be appropriate for someone who requires extensive postural support, cannot remain appropriately seated, cannot safely transfer onto or off the chair, exceeds the 300 lb capacity, or requires sling-supported transfers. Those users may need a different type of bath, transfer, or patient-lifting solution.

Is the AX07 a Replacement for a Hoyer Lift?

No. The AX07 is a seated electric bath and floor lift, not a sling-based full-body patient lift.

A traditional Hoyer-style patient lift can suspend and transfer a user in a compatible sling between surfaces such as a bed and wheelchair. The AX07 instead raises an appropriately positioned seated user vertically from a low position.

Someone who requires full-body support or sling-assisted transfers should not select the AX07 simply because it is described as a floor lift.

The AX07 is more appropriate when the user’s primary challenge is rising from or lowering toward a low seated position and the person can be appropriately positioned on its seat.

What Should You Compare Before Buying an Electric Bath Lift Chair?

When comparing an electric bath lift chair, look beyond the maximum weight capacity. Important specifications include minimum seat height, maximum seat height, actual seat dimensions, product weight, waterproof protection, battery operation, bathtub compatibility, suction system, storage design, user transfer ability, and caregiver handling requirements.

For the AX07, the most important numbers are straightforward: approximately 23 lb product weight, 300 lb capacity, 2.3-inch minimum seat height, 18.9-inch maximum seat height, 13.4-inch seat width, 17.7-inch seat length, six suction cups, IP68 waterproof construction, and approximately 10 uses per full battery charge.

These specifications should be compared directly with the intended user’s body dimensions, mobility abilities, transfer method, and the dimensions and surface of the bathtub where the chair will be used.
