Description
VOCIC Z22 Stand Up Walker – Upright Rollator With Padded Forearm Rests, Seat and Backrest
The VOCIC Z22 is a stand up walker built so you walk standing tall instead of hunched over a set of low handles. Your forearms rest on padded armrests up near chest level, your hands hold upright grips with the brake levers right there, and a padded seat with a wide backrest is behind you whenever you need a break. VOCIC rates it for users up to 300 lbs.
As a stand up rollator, it suits people who lean forward on a regular rollator or who find that pushing down through their wrists gets tiring. The upright walker with armrests spreads the support along your forearms. The armrests adjust through five height settings, the 8″ puncture-proof wheels roll indoors and out, and an under-seat bag carries your things.
The frame pairs aluminum alloy front tubes with iron rear tubes for a steady triangle shape when you sit, and it folds for the car or a closet. Pick Blue, Green, Purple or Red in the dropdown above.
Why Choose the VOCIC Z22?
It changes how you stand while you walk. On a standard rollator the handles sit at hip height, so many people end up bent over them. On the Z22 your forearms rest on padded supports and your hands hold upright grips, which keeps your head and chest up and puts more of your weight through your arms instead of your wrists.
You still get the things people like about a rollator: a padded seat, a wide backrest, hand brakes, a storage bag and four wheels that roll easily. VOCIC rates it for 300 lbs and backs it with an 18-month end-user warranty (coverage varies by component).
Who Is the VOCIC Z22 Best For?
The Z22 is a good fit for:
- People who catch themselves hunching over a regular rollator or walker
- Users who get sore wrists or hands from pushing down on standard handles
- Taller users: VOCIC’s size chart lists a fit of 5’1″ to 6’3″
- Anyone who wants a seat and backrest to rest on during walks, errands or appointments
- People who walk both inside the home and outside on sidewalks and paths
New to walkers and not sure which type you need? Our Complete Walker Buying Guide explains the differences, and the Walker Knowledge Base answers the common fit and safety questions.
Who May Need a Different Walker?
- Users over 300 lbs: VOCIC rates the Z22 for 300 lbs. Choose a heavy duty or bariatric model instead.
- Shorter users: VOCIC’s chart starts at 5’1″. If you’re under that, ask us before you order.
- Tight hallways and narrow doors: VOCIC’s figures put the Z22 at 23.2″ to 25.4″ wide. For small apartments, look at the slimmer VOCIC Z32 Slim Walker.
- People who want help on hills: the VOCIC Z73 Electric Walker has powered assist and resist modes.
- Anyone who needs to be pushed while seated: a rollator isn’t a wheelchair. Use a transport chair for that.
Padded Forearm Rests With 5 Height Settings
The forearm rests are the heart of an upright walker. They’re padded, they sit up near chest level, and they adjust through five height settings with knob screws (VOCIC includes two). VOCIC’s spec table lists a handle height of 44.1″ to 50″, and its size chart marks 39.6″ to 47.4″ at the armrests. Set them so your elbows rest comfortably at about a right angle while you stand straight.
300 lb Weight Capacity
VOCIC rates the Z22 for users up to 300 lbs. The aluminum alloy front tubes keep weight down and resist rust, and the iron rear tubes form a stable triangle with the frame, so the walker feels planted when you push it and when you sit down to rest.
8″ Puncture-Proof Wheels for Indoors and Out
The Z22 rolls on four 8″ tires made of soft PVC, so there’s nothing to inflate and nothing to go flat. The front wheels swivel all the way around for easy turns in a kitchen or a store aisle, and 8″ is big enough to handle thresholds, sidewalk seams and curb cuts better than the small wheels on a basic walker.
Padded Seat and Wide Backrest
When you need a break, lock the brakes, turn around and sit. VOCIC’s size chart shows a 16.3″ x 12.8″ seat that sits 19.3″ to 21.7″ off the floor, with a thickened cushion and a widened padded backrest made of Oxford cloth over sponge.
Hand Brakes Right at Your Grips
Each upright grip has its own brake lever, connected by a brake cable (two in all). Your hands never have to leave the grips to slow down or stop. Always lock the brakes before you sit and keep them locked until you’re standing steady again.
Choosing Your Options
There’s one dropdown: Color. Every color is the same Z22 walker with the same frame, seat, wheels and measurements. Only the frame color changes.
| Color | VOCIC SKU | What changes |
|---|---|---|
| Blue | Z22-A-BL-C | Frame color only |
| Green | Z22-A-GN-C | Frame color only |
| Purple | Z22-A-PP-C | Frame color only |
| Red | Z22-A-RD-C | Frame color only |
VOCIC’s Green is a deep teal shade in its photos. Questions about a color? Call us at 585-505-6665.
VOCIC Z22 vs. a Standard Rollator
A standard rollator has handles at hip height, and you push down on them with your hands. The Z22 moves the support up to your forearms and gives you upright grips, so you walk taller and your wrists carry less load. Both give you a seat, brakes and storage. The trade-off is size and weight: an upright walker is taller and a bit heavier (VOCIC lists the Z22 at 24.3 lbs), so if lifting it into a car is your main concern, a standard lightweight rollator may suit you better.
Common Problem → VOCIC Z22 Solution
Problem: Dad uses a regular rollator, but by the end of the block he’s bent over the handles, looking at the ground, and his wrists ache.
Solution: On the Z22 his forearms rest on padded supports up near chest height, so he stands upright and looks ahead. The grips have the brakes built in, and when he gets tired there’s a padded seat and backrest to sit on.
“Will it work for him at 6’2″?” VOCIC’s size chart lists a fit of 5’1″ to 6’3″, so he’s inside VOCIC’s range.
Sizing & Fit
- User height: VOCIC’s size chart lists 5’1″ to 6’3″.
- Armrests: five height settings. Stand straight and set them so your elbows bend at about a right angle with your forearms flat on the pads.
- Seat: 16.3″ x 12.8″ per VOCIC’s size chart, 19.3″ to 21.7″ off the floor. Sit with your feet flat on the floor.
- Doorways: VOCIC’s figures put it at 23.2″ to 25.4″ wide. Make sure doors and halls on your route are wider than 25.4″.
- Weight: 300 lbs maximum.
Care & Cleaning
Follow the VOCIC manual that comes in the box. As general care, wipe the frame, seat and armrest pads with a damp cloth and mild soap, dry them, keep hair and debris out of the wheels, and check that the brakes hold and the height knobs are tight before each use. If the brakes or wheels wear out, VOCIC says both can be replaced. Call us at 585-505-6665 for parts.
What’s Included
VOCIC lists these in the box: 2 front wheels, 2 rear wheels, 2 handles, the seat, 2 brake cables, the storage bag, the backrest, 2 knob screws and the user manual. VOCIC’s photos also show a cup holder on the frame; ask us to confirm it ships with your order.
Warranty
VOCIC backs the Z22 with an 18-month end-user warranty (coverage varies by component); ask us for the current terms. VOCIC also offers 24-hour after-sales support, and we’ll help you with any warranty claim.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the VOCIC Z22 Stand Up Walker?
It’s a stand up rollator with padded forearm rests, upright hand grips with brakes, a padded seat and backrest, an under-seat bag and four 8″ puncture-proof wheels. VOCIC rates it for 300 lbs, and it comes in Blue, Green, Purple and Red.
How much weight can it hold?
VOCIC rates the Z22 for a maximum of 300 lbs.
How much does it weigh?
VOCIC’s spec table lists 24.3 lbs. Its size chart shows 22.5 lbs, so plan on lifting about 24 lbs. Boxed, it ships at 29 lbs.
Will it fit my height?
VOCIC’s size chart lists a fit of 5’1″ to 6’3″. The forearm rests adjust through five height settings, so set them where your elbows bend at about a right angle while you stand straight.
What’s the difference between an upright walker and a regular rollator?
An upright walker supports you at the forearms instead of the hands. On a regular rollator you push down on hip-height handles, and many people end up leaning forward. On the Z22 your forearms rest on padded supports and you hold upright grips, so it’s easier to stand tall.
How high is the seat?
VOCIC’s size chart shows the seat 19.3″ to 21.7″ off the floor, with a 16.3″ x 12.8″ seating area and a padded backrest.
Will it fit through my doorways?
VOCIC’s figures put the Z22 at 23.2″ to 25.4″ wide, so it fits doors and halls wider than 25.4″. For very tight spaces, look at a narrow rollator.
Does it fold?
Yes. VOCIC lists the folded size as 25.4″ x 16.5″ x 43.3″ to 47.2″, small enough for many car trunks and closets.
What wheels does it have?
Four 8″ puncture-proof tires made of soft PVC. They never need air, and the front wheels swivel 360° for easy turns indoors and out.
What comes in the box?
VOCIC lists 2 front wheels, 2 rear wheels, 2 handles, the seat, 2 brake cables, the storage bag, the backrest, 2 knob screws and the user manual.
Can the brakes and wheels be replaced?
Yes. VOCIC says both the brakes and the wheels can be replaced if they break. Call us at 585-505-6665 for parts.
What warranty does it have?
VOCIC backs it with an 18-month end-user warranty (coverage varies by component); ask us for the current terms.
Can someone push me while I sit on it?
No. A rollator isn’t built to be pushed with someone sitting on it. Use a transport chair for that.

Shipping & Returns
Shipping & Return Policy
At MedCare Mobility, we understand that purchasing medical and mobility equipment is an important decision. Our goal is to make the ordering, delivery, and return process as clear and straightforward as possible.
Because many of the products we offer are large, specialized, or shipped directly from manufacturer and distributor warehouses, shipping and return requirements may vary somewhat by product and brand. The policy below explains what you can generally expect when ordering from MedCare Mobility.
Shipping & Order Processing
We ship medical and mobility equipment to customers throughout the United States. Orders are processed as quickly as possible, and tracking information is provided once available.
Processing Time
Most in-stock orders are processed within approximately 1–3 business days. Processing may include order verification, warehouse preparation, packaging, and coordination with the manufacturer or distributor.
Some specialty equipment, made-to-order products, oversized items, or products shipping directly from a manufacturer may require additional processing time. Any estimated processing or lead time shown on an individual product page should be considered part of the expected fulfillment timeframe for that item.
Transit & Delivery Time
Once shipped, many standard orders arrive within approximately 3–7 business days. Larger medical equipment, freight shipments, specialty products, and certain manufacturer-direct orders may require additional transit time.
Tracking information will generally be emailed once the shipment has been processed by the carrier. If you have questions regarding the status of your order, please contact us at info@medcaremobility.com.
Alaska, Hawaii & Special Shipping Areas
Orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and certain remote or limited-access areas may be subject to additional shipping charges. If an additional charge is required after your order is reviewed, we will contact you before proceeding whenever additional payment is necessary.
Freight & Oversized Equipment
Hospital beds, patient lifts, large recliners, ramps, and other oversized medical equipment may ship by freight rather than standard parcel service. Unless a specific delivery service is stated on the product page or order, freight delivery does not automatically include inside delivery, assembly, installation, or removal of packaging.
30-Day Return Policy
We want you to feel comfortable ordering from MedCare Mobility. Most eligible products may be returned when a return is requested within 30 days of delivery, subject to the conditions and exclusions outlined below.
Eligible products generally include:
- Electric and power wheelchairs
- Manual and lightweight wheelchairs
- Mobility scooters
- Walkers and rollators
- Patient lifts
- Wheelchair ramps
- Hospital and homecare beds
- Eligible medical mattresses
- Geriatric and medical recliner chairs
- Overbed tables
- Bathroom benches and shower chairs
- Other eligible medical and mobility equipment
Return eligibility can vary by manufacturer and product type. Products specifically identified as non-returnable, custom, made-to-order, or otherwise subject to special return terms are governed by those terms.
Return Authorization
Please contact us before shipping any product back. Returns must first be approved and issued a Return Authorization (RA) and the appropriate return shipping address.
You may request a return by emailing info@medcaremobility.com or contacting our customer service team through the live chat on our website.
Please do not return merchandise to an address shown on the original shipping label unless specifically instructed to do so. Many products ship directly from manufacturer or distributor warehouses, and the correct return location may be different from the original shipping location.
Condition of Returned Merchandise
To qualify for a return and refund, the product must be returned:
- In brand-new and unused condition
- In its complete original manufacturer packaging
- With all manuals, components, hardware, accessories, and included materials
- Without damage, modification, assembly wear, stains, odors, or other signs of use
- In resalable condition upon inspection by the receiving warehouse or manufacturer
We strongly recommend keeping the original box, pallet, protective materials, and packaging until you are certain that you intend to keep the equipment. Large medical equipment can be difficult or impossible to return safely without its original packaging.
Restocking Fees
Approved returns are subject to a mandatory restocking fee, generally ranging from 15% to 20% of the applicable product price. The exact restocking percentage varies depending on the manufacturer, brand, and type of equipment being returned.
These restocking charges are assessed to us by the manufacturer or distributing warehouse when merchandise is returned. MedCare Mobility does not add the fee simply as a return penalty; when the manufacturer requires the charge, we must pass the applicable amount through as part of processing the return.
If you would like to know the applicable restocking percentage for a particular product before ordering, please contact us and we will be happy to help whenever that information is available from the manufacturer.
Return Shipping & Shipping Charges
The customer is responsible for shipping charges associated with the order when making a standard return.
Customers are responsible for arranging for the approved merchandise to be returned to the return address provided with the Return Authorization. In certain cases, we may be able to provide a prepaid return label or coordinate return transportation for your convenience. When provided, the applicable shipping cost may be deducted from the final refund.
Because some medical equipment is oversized or requires freight transportation, prepaid labels or carrier call tags may not be available for every product. Our customer service team will provide the available return instructions when your return is authorized.
Non-Returnable Products
For health, hygiene, safety, customization, and manufacturer-policy reasons, certain products are not eligible for standard returns.
We currently do not accept returns on:
- Parts & accessories
- Wheelchair cushions and support accessories
- Patient lift slings
- Custom or made-to-order products
- Products specifically identified as non-returnable on the product page
If a non-returnable product arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us promptly. Non-returnable status does not prevent us from assisting with a legitimate shipping damage, defect, warranty, or fulfillment issue in accordance with the applicable manufacturer and carrier procedures.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
We take shipping damage seriously and will work with you to help resolve legitimate delivery issues.
If your product arrives damaged, please notify MedCare Mobility within 48 hours of delivery. Whenever possible, retain the shipping carton, pallet, packaging materials, and the product exactly as received and take clear photographs of the packaging and any visible damage.
Reporting damage promptly is important because carriers and manufacturers have limited timeframes for filing freight and shipping claims.
If you receive an incorrect product or believe there is a manufacturer defect, please contact us before returning or disposing of any merchandise or packaging so that we can provide the appropriate instructions.
Refused Deliveries
Please contact us before refusing a delivery unless the shipment has obvious significant freight damage and the carrier is documenting the damage at delivery.
A shipment that is refused for reasons unrelated to verified shipping damage may be treated as a standard return. Applicable restocking and shipping charges may therefore be deducted from the refund.
Return Shipping Deadline
Once a return has been approved and return instructions or a return label have been issued, the merchandise must be shipped within 72 hours unless MedCare Mobility provides different instructions in writing.
This is particularly important when a return is approaching the end of the applicable return period. Returns shipped outside the authorized timeframe may be refused by the manufacturer or warehouse and may no longer qualify for a refund.
Refund Processing
Refunds are processed after the returned merchandise has been received and inspected by the applicable warehouse or manufacturer and the return has been confirmed to meet the return requirements.
The applicable restocking fee, shipping charges associated with the order, and any other authorized return-related charges will be deducted from the amount eligible for refund.
If returned merchandise is used, damaged, incomplete, missing original packaging or components, or otherwise returned in a condition that prevents the manufacturer or warehouse from accepting it as new and resalable merchandise, the return may be refused or the refund may be reduced in accordance with the manufacturer’s assessment.
Custom & Made-to-Order Products
Products identified as custom, configured, made-to-order, special-order, or manufactured specifically for the customer cannot generally be canceled once production or manufacturer processing has begun and are not eligible for standard returns.
For custom products, cancellation may only be possible during the initial processing period and before production or customization begins. Because production schedules vary by manufacturer, we encourage customers to contact us immediately if a change is required.
If a custom product arrives damaged or has a legitimate manufacturing defect, we will work with the manufacturer to pursue the appropriate resolution, replacement components, repair, or other available remedy under the applicable manufacturer policy or warranty.
Questions Before Ordering?
Medical equipment can vary considerably in size, configuration, compatibility, and intended use. If you are unsure whether a product will work for your needs, we strongly encourage you to contact us before placing your order.
Our team is happy to help review product specifications, dimensions, options, compatibility, and available manufacturer information so you can make a more informed purchasing decision and reduce the possibility of needing a return.
For shipping, return, or product questions, contact us at info@medcaremobility.com or speak with us through the live chat on our website.
