Description

VOCIC AX12 PRO Powered Toilet Seat Lift – Toilet Seat Lift with Remote, 330 lb Capacity

The VOCIC AX12 PRO is a powered toilet seat lift that fits over the toilet you already have. It raises and tilts the seat forward so the user can stand up with far less effort, and lowers them gently when they sit. VOCIC rates it for 330 lbs.

What makes it the PRO is the controls. It’s a toilet seat lift with remote: it comes with a plug-in wired hand control and a rechargeable wireless remote, so the user can run it from the seat or a caregiver can run it from beside them. Like any motorized toilet seat lift it needs a wall outlet nearby. The frame is carbon steel and plastic, the handrails are PVC, and VOCIC says it fixes in place around the bowl without drilling.

If you only need the wired control, the VOCIC AX12 Standard is the same style of lift without the wireless remote. Both are authorized VOCIC products, shipped nationwide and delivered to your door.

Why Choose the VOCIC AX12 PRO Powered Toilet Seat Lift?

Standing up from a toilet is a deep, unsupported squat, and it’s where a lot of bathroom falls happen. Grab bars help, but the user still has to push their own weight up. The AX12 PRO takes over that part: the seat rises and tips forward, bringing the user’s weight over their feet, and the handrails give them something to hold the whole way up.

The two controls are the practical upgrade. A user with good hands can keep the wired control at their side. A caregiver can hold the wireless remote and run the lift without leaning over the toilet, which is easier on both of them.

Who Is the VOCIC AX12 PRO Best For?

  • Seniors who can stand and walk but can’t get up from the toilet on their own
  • Families and home caregivers who want to run the lift with a remote
  • Users up to 330 lbs
  • People with weak legs or stiff knees and hips who need a lift, not just a taller seat
  • Rentals and homes where you can’t drill into the floor
  • Bathrooms with round or elongated toilets that fit VOCIC’s chart

For more ideas on setting up the bathroom, read our Guide to Bathroom Safety for Seniors.

Who May Need a Different Toilet Lift?

If the user weighs more than 330 lbs, the AX12 PRO isn’t rated for them. If they can’t take weight on their legs at all, a toilet lift won’t get them standing, so talk to us about a rolling shower commode chair or a patient lift instead. If one wired control is plenty, the AX12 Standard skips the wireless remote. If the person needs help standing from a sofa or armchair rather than the toilet, look at the VOCIC AX16 PRO Electric Lift Cushion. And measure your toilet against the fit chart under Sizing & Fit first, because it doesn’t suit every bowl.

330 lb Weight Capacity

VOCIC rates the AX12 PRO for up to 330 lbs (150 kg). The lift weighs 40 lbs, with a heavy-duty molded metal frame and a motor VOCIC describes as built for long-term use.

Wired Hand Control Plus Wireless Remote

VOCIC calls this dual control. In the box you get a plug-in hand controller and a rechargeable wireless hand controller with its own charging adapter. Use one, the other, or both, depending on whether the user runs the lift or a caregiver does.

12.8″ Lifting Height With a 0° to 15° Tilt

VOCIC lists a lifting height of 12.8″ and a tilt angle range of 0° to 15°, at a lifting speed of 8 mm per second, slow and steady. VOCIC’s feature text also describes a lift range of 4.7″ to 7.7″ (12 to 19.5 cm). VOCIC doesn’t say which point of the seat each figure measures, so ask us if an exact number matters for your user.

8.8″ PVC Handrails

VOCIC lists a handrail height of 8.8″, and the handrails are PVC, so they’re easy to grip and wipe down. VOCIC lists them as detachable handles on its consumer listing, and the handrail ships as its own part in the box.

No-Drill Install and Anti-Tip Design

VOCIC says the base fixes in place around the bowl without drilling, and calls the design anti-tip. It sits over the existing toilet and needs no extra floor space beyond its own base, which VOCIC shows at about 22.8″ x 25.7″ and 4.7″ high. A tool kit comes in the box.

IPX4 Rating and Plug-In Power

VOCIC rates the AX12 PRO IPX4, which is protection against splashing water. It runs from a power adapter on a cord of about 6.5 ft, so you’ll want an outlet close to the toilet. VOCIC’s spec table also lists a 22.2V, 2.6Ah battery, but doesn’t say whether it can run the lift when the outlet is off. Ask us before you count on it in an outage.

VOCIC AX12 PRO vs. AX12 Standard

Both are rated for 330 lbs, carry an IPX4 rating, sit over the existing toilet and use the same VOCIC toilet fit chart.

  • AX12 PRO (this lift): wired hand control plus a rechargeable wireless remote, 40 lbs, carbon steel and plastic with PVC handrails, VOCIC lists a 0° to 15° tilt and a 12.8″ lifting height
  • AX12 Standard: wired hand control only, 44.1 lbs, carbon steel with an electrostatic spray coating, VOCIC lists a 0° to 20° tilt and 4.7″ to 14.6″ of lift at the rear

Pick the PRO when a caregiver helps with toileting or the user wants a remote they can keep in a pocket. Pick the Standard when one wired control at the seat is all you need.

Common Problem → VOCIC AX12 PRO Solution

Problem: Dad’s home aide helps him off the toilet three or four times a day. She has to bend over, hook her arms under his, and pull, and both of them are getting hurt.

Solution: The AX12 PRO goes over his toilet without drilling. When he’s ready, the aide presses the wireless remote while standing beside him. The seat rises and tilts forward, he holds the handrails, and he comes up to standing with her just steadying him.

“What if he wants to do it himself?” He can. The wired control stays at the seat, so he can run the lift alone when nobody’s there.

Sizing & Fit

VOCIC’s fit chart for the AX12 PRO covers round and elongated toilets. It uses the bowl length (from the seat bolt holes to the front edge of the bowl) and the gap between the tank and the bolt holes.

  • Gap of 1″ to 1.7″: bowl length 16.7″ to 22″
  • Gap of 1.7″ to 2.5″: bowl length 16″ to 21.2″
  • Gap over 2.5″: bowl length 15.2″ to 20″
  • Gap under 1″: VOCIC says the lift doesn’t fit
  • Floor space: base about 22.8″ x 25.7″, plus about 5″ of clear floor on each side of the bowl
  • Power: an outlet within the cord’s reach, about 6.5 ft
  • User: up to 330 lbs

Call 585-505-6665 with your measurements, or send a photo of the toilet, and we’ll check the fit with you.

Care & Cleaning

VOCIC describes the frame as easy to clean and the handrails are PVC. VOCIC doesn’t publish detailed cleaning steps, so as general advice: unplug the lift, wipe the seat, handrails and frame with a damp cloth and mild soap, and dry them. Keep water away from the plug, the adapter and the remote’s charger, and charge the wireless remote with its own charging adapter. Ask us for the user manual if you’d like VOCIC’s instructions.

What’s Included

VOCIC lists seven items in the box:

  • Lift-up toilet mount (the lift)
  • Handrail
  • Plug-in hand controller
  • Power adapter
  • Rechargeable hand controller (wireless remote)
  • Charging adapter
  • Tool kit

VOCIC AX12 PRO Warranty

VOCIC backs it with a 1-year end-user warranty (coverage varies by component). Ask us for the current terms.

Shipping & Returns

Shipping & Return Policy

At MedCare Mobility, we understand that purchasing medical and mobility equipment is an important decision. Our goal is to make the ordering, delivery, and return process as clear and straightforward as possible.

Because many of the products we offer are large, specialized, or shipped directly from manufacturer and distributor warehouses, shipping and return requirements may vary somewhat by product and brand. The policy below explains what you can generally expect when ordering from MedCare Mobility.

Shipping & Order Processing

We ship medical and mobility equipment to customers throughout the United States. Orders are processed as quickly as possible, and tracking information is provided once available.

Processing Time

Most in-stock orders are processed within approximately 1–3 business days. Processing may include order verification, warehouse preparation, packaging, and coordination with the manufacturer or distributor.

Some specialty equipment, made-to-order products, oversized items, or products shipping directly from a manufacturer may require additional processing time. Any estimated processing or lead time shown on an individual product page should be considered part of the expected fulfillment timeframe for that item.

Transit & Delivery Time

Once shipped, many standard orders arrive within approximately 3–7 business days. Larger medical equipment, freight shipments, specialty products, and certain manufacturer-direct orders may require additional transit time.

Tracking information will generally be emailed once the shipment has been processed by the carrier. If you have questions regarding the status of your order, please contact us at info@medcaremobility.com.

Alaska, Hawaii & Special Shipping Areas

Orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and certain remote or limited-access areas may be subject to additional shipping charges. If an additional charge is required after your order is reviewed, we will contact you before proceeding whenever additional payment is necessary.

Freight & Oversized Equipment

Hospital beds, patient lifts, large recliners, ramps, and other oversized medical equipment may ship by freight rather than standard parcel service. Unless a specific delivery service is stated on the product page or order, freight delivery does not automatically include inside delivery, assembly, installation, or removal of packaging.

30-Day Return Policy

We want you to feel comfortable ordering from MedCare Mobility. Most eligible products may be returned when a return is requested within 30 days of delivery, subject to the conditions and exclusions outlined below.

Eligible products generally include:

  • Electric and power wheelchairs
  • Manual and lightweight wheelchairs
  • Mobility scooters
  • Walkers and rollators
  • Patient lifts
  • Wheelchair ramps
  • Hospital and homecare beds
  • Eligible medical mattresses
  • Geriatric and medical recliner chairs
  • Overbed tables
  • Bathroom benches and shower chairs
  • Other eligible medical and mobility equipment

Return eligibility can vary by manufacturer and product type. Products specifically identified as non-returnable, custom, made-to-order, or otherwise subject to special return terms are governed by those terms.

Return Authorization

Please contact us before shipping any product back. Returns must first be approved and issued a Return Authorization (RA) and the appropriate return shipping address.

You may request a return by emailing info@medcaremobility.com or contacting our customer service team through the live chat on our website.

Please do not return merchandise to an address shown on the original shipping label unless specifically instructed to do so. Many products ship directly from manufacturer or distributor warehouses, and the correct return location may be different from the original shipping location.

Condition of Returned Merchandise

To qualify for a return and refund, the product must be returned:

  • In brand-new and unused condition
  • In its complete original manufacturer packaging
  • With all manuals, components, hardware, accessories, and included materials
  • Without damage, modification, assembly wear, stains, odors, or other signs of use
  • In resalable condition upon inspection by the receiving warehouse or manufacturer

We strongly recommend keeping the original box, pallet, protective materials, and packaging until you are certain that you intend to keep the equipment. Large medical equipment can be difficult or impossible to return safely without its original packaging.

Restocking Fees

Approved returns are subject to a mandatory restocking fee, generally ranging from 15% to 20% of the applicable product price. The exact restocking percentage varies depending on the manufacturer, brand, and type of equipment being returned.

These restocking charges are assessed to us by the manufacturer or distributing warehouse when merchandise is returned. MedCare Mobility does not add the fee simply as a return penalty; when the manufacturer requires the charge, we must pass the applicable amount through as part of processing the return.

If you would like to know the applicable restocking percentage for a particular product before ordering, please contact us and we will be happy to help whenever that information is available from the manufacturer.

Return Shipping & Shipping Charges

The customer is responsible for shipping charges associated with the order when making a standard return.

Customers are responsible for arranging for the approved merchandise to be returned to the return address provided with the Return Authorization. In certain cases, we may be able to provide a prepaid return label or coordinate return transportation for your convenience. When provided, the applicable shipping cost may be deducted from the final refund.

Because some medical equipment is oversized or requires freight transportation, prepaid labels or carrier call tags may not be available for every product. Our customer service team will provide the available return instructions when your return is authorized.

Non-Returnable Products

For health, hygiene, safety, customization, and manufacturer-policy reasons, certain products are not eligible for standard returns.

We currently do not accept returns on:

  • Parts & accessories
  • Wheelchair cushions and support accessories
  • Patient lift slings
  • Custom or made-to-order products
  • Products specifically identified as non-returnable on the product page

If a non-returnable product arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us promptly. Non-returnable status does not prevent us from assisting with a legitimate shipping damage, defect, warranty, or fulfillment issue in accordance with the applicable manufacturer and carrier procedures.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

We take shipping damage seriously and will work with you to help resolve legitimate delivery issues.

If your product arrives damaged, please notify MedCare Mobility within 48 hours of delivery. Whenever possible, retain the shipping carton, pallet, packaging materials, and the product exactly as received and take clear photographs of the packaging and any visible damage.

Reporting damage promptly is important because carriers and manufacturers have limited timeframes for filing freight and shipping claims.

If you receive an incorrect product or believe there is a manufacturer defect, please contact us before returning or disposing of any merchandise or packaging so that we can provide the appropriate instructions.

Refused Deliveries

Please contact us before refusing a delivery unless the shipment has obvious significant freight damage and the carrier is documenting the damage at delivery.

A shipment that is refused for reasons unrelated to verified shipping damage may be treated as a standard return. Applicable restocking and shipping charges may therefore be deducted from the refund.

Return Shipping Deadline

Once a return has been approved and return instructions or a return label have been issued, the merchandise must be shipped within 72 hours unless MedCare Mobility provides different instructions in writing.

This is particularly important when a return is approaching the end of the applicable return period. Returns shipped outside the authorized timeframe may be refused by the manufacturer or warehouse and may no longer qualify for a refund.

Refund Processing

Refunds are processed after the returned merchandise has been received and inspected by the applicable warehouse or manufacturer and the return has been confirmed to meet the return requirements.

The applicable restocking fee, shipping charges associated with the order, and any other authorized return-related charges will be deducted from the amount eligible for refund.

If returned merchandise is used, damaged, incomplete, missing original packaging or components, or otherwise returned in a condition that prevents the manufacturer or warehouse from accepting it as new and resalable merchandise, the return may be refused or the refund may be reduced in accordance with the manufacturer’s assessment.

Custom & Made-to-Order Products

Products identified as custom, configured, made-to-order, special-order, or manufactured specifically for the customer cannot generally be canceled once production or manufacturer processing has begun and are not eligible for standard returns.

For custom products, cancellation may only be possible during the initial processing period and before production or customization begins. Because production schedules vary by manufacturer, we encourage customers to contact us immediately if a change is required.

If a custom product arrives damaged or has a legitimate manufacturing defect, we will work with the manufacturer to pursue the appropriate resolution, replacement components, repair, or other available remedy under the applicable manufacturer policy or warranty.

Questions Before Ordering?

Medical equipment can vary considerably in size, configuration, compatibility, and intended use. If you are unsure whether a product will work for your needs, we strongly encourage you to contact us before placing your order.

Our team is happy to help review product specifications, dimensions, options, compatibility, and available manufacturer information so you can make a more informed purchasing decision and reduce the possibility of needing a return.

For shipping, return, or product questions, contact us at info@medcaremobility.com or speak with us through the live chat on our website.
